    More surgery

    hi,

I was told yesterday that I need more surgery. They are going to take my ovaries out in August. They want me to lose more weight before doing the operation. I had my mastectomy last July and I am starting to feel like i go to hospital in the summer instead of going on holiday.

one for all........ and all for one

So many new people which is sad. I wish none of us were on here. I really do. But since we do have this dreadfull illness, or are caring for a loved on who has it, then  this is a great place .Especially in those early days when your diagnosis is what shocks you awake, nags at your mind when you're needing sleep and dominates most moments of your day. To be able to come to a site like this, and to share some talk, some tears, some laughs, some fears. You can walk alone but why? When you can...

    My Lovely Wife Julie 17

The Diamorphine was increased at the weekend to meet pain levels.

Julie looks at me with a blank expression that is making me feel very lonley.

    Conversations are very one-sided.

Are we near the end ?, I don't know, nobody does.

    Forward planning does not exist.

    Pain!

Hi - has anyone else experienced pain in the breast affected by cancer? I get shooting pains and one side of the tumour is tender - even bras are uncomfortable as they lie across the lump! I noticed after the biopsies that the pain became worse. Up until now I had always been told cancer was painless but this one isn't!

Just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar. Thx
