Pain!

Hi - has anyone else experienced pain in the breast affected by cancer? I get shooting pains and one side of the tumour is tender - even bras are uncomfortable as they lie across the lump! I noticed after the biopsies that the pain became worse. Up until now I had always been told cancer was painless but this one isn't!

Just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar. Thx

I asked my breast care nurse about the same thing, really odd i have felt some ache type pain in the breast i have the tumors in. She told me it was likely because of the recent biopsy and it would fade. I wondered if i was imagining it because as you say isnt cancer painless............

So no difinitive answer hun but jsut to say yes i have the same sensation but not all the time

Hi Fi,

Have you joined the Breast Cancer Care site? Because it specializes in BC you should have more feed-back. I'm post-surgery but now have pain where my lymph-nodes used to live!
