Hi All,
I just wondered if anyone could give me some ideas of what to do in lockdown with my mum. She was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in November. I live at home with her and my step dad, I am currently working from home. This lockdown is really taking its toll on us now and I can’t help but feel lost and angry that all she is doing with her last few months of life is sitting in front of the TV. We’ve been on some walks, we’ve had a home afternoon tea and spa day. Really struggling for ideas and trying not to waste precious time with her so any ideas would help.
Thank you!
Hello buttonnose,
I don't really have any ideas, i think so many of us feel like this at the moment. Covid really is taking time away from us to make those lasting memories with our loved ones. So sad. My mum has lung cancer too, but so tired from the treatment at the moment. This time really is precious. Could you have a movie night, do you share a favourite movie? My mum and i used to love playing cards when i was younger, but her concentration levels are not good at the moment either. Do you have any board games? Fingers crossed we start to see some changes in the near future and restrictions lift a little.
Hopefully someone comes along with some fresh ideas for you. Xx
