So the last four years have been difficult it’s just me and my mum she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer we done targeted therapy that worked for a while, but then it stopped working she done a few months on Paclitaxel
That worked then scans showed changed but the oncologist kept her on it since December she has been admitted to hospital because her calcium was to high and her kidneys stopped functioning properly so all chemo stopped then we got told that they were going to try another chemo but it would maybe only provide months.
The day before starting we got the call to say she couldn't have it because her blood tests showed jaundice forward to today we went to see the oncologist and were told there is no more treatment her platelets are to low her liver is enlarged and covered in Mets she's jaundiced, and tired I don't know what to do its only ever been me and mum all my close family have passed I'm so scared
Oncologist says realistically we might only have a few weeks or months I feel utterly broken all I'm doing is crying but I want to be strong for my mum I have no one to speak to.
