Hi, I’ve just joined this forum but I’m struggling to find advice and hope you can help me. My dad has terminal prostate cancer which he has had for 5 years and it has spread to his bones. He went for physio on Monday and is now in pain , so my question is - would exercise cause the cancer to flare up . Many thanks for your time . Diane
Hi Di 3039. I am so sorry to read about your Dad. I have exactly the same troubles and I do try to take exercise as it does help your body. I would suggesting speaking with his oncologist. His secretary will probably be easier to get hold of, explain what has happened and say you need urgent advice. I am sure he/she will get back to you.
I do know that radiotherapy is sometimes used to address bone pain with a lot of success. Best wishes.
