I’ve joined this group as I don’t know what to do. Long story short my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer 6 years ago - 2 years ago the cancer was in his spine and has fractured his vertebra
he has had 2 rounds of 10 chemo sessions and a trial drug that didn’t work for him So now only hormone injections. Over the past 12 months he has just got weaker and weaker
4 weeks ago my mother found him in an delirious state in bed he had lost consciousness and Was rushed to hospital - he had a water infection was treated for 2 weeks and he came home, however this week again very confused and in a state so taken to hospital where they have now said he has pneumonia and is on anti biotic again
is this his body slowly shutting down ? Has anyone been in the position ?? I know everyone is different but I’m so scared that this is the end
