First time posting.  My mum was diagnosed last year with breast cancer and what they initially thought was secondary breast cancer on her lung.  However further tests show lung cancer not related to breast - instead it is 'small cell lung cancer'.  She is on a daily tablet for the breast and started chemo for lung 3 weeks ago.  Second chemo session was to be today but she was told yesterday that she would have to wait until next week. Mum said it was to do with blood pressure.  She hasn't been sleeping at all so they have given her something to help her sleep.  Her hair is starting to fall out - she is putting on a brave front about it - but I can tell she is absolutely petrified.  I feel useless as I don't know what to do or say to make her feel better.  I'm scared the lung cancer will spread with them not giving her the chemo.
