The day of my operation, the surgeon told me the MDT meeting that morning had reviewed ALL of my scans to date and had seen a 'something' on the left side of my neck. Being home is reassuring although I have to cart the catheter around with me till Wednesday next when I see my surgeon again. My grandchildren were pretty disgusted when they came with my son to collect me to but agree it's better than having to wear a nappy LOL!

i had my post op and end of chemo CT scan on 3rd Jan but my appointment to see my oncologist isn't until 25th February. If anything sinister had shown up would the hospital have rang or asked to see me sooner???? am i right in thinking that my results will therefore be good news? i am getting more worried the close i get to my appointment date.

My husband went to the hospital today for a check up as he had started his new (fifth) chemo ten days ago. In the meantime he had got an excrutiating pain in his groin, had an ultrasound and this was reported back to the Prof.

I am new on here and am hoping that by talking to others i may be able to get some help. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of october, I then went on to have a masectomy in the middle of december. I was very lucky to have an immediate reconstruction using my own tummy.
