what does waiting weeks for scan results mean?

i had my post op and end of chemo CT scan on 3rd Jan but my appointment to see my oncologist isn't until 25th February. If anything sinister had shown up would the hospital have rang or asked to see me sooner???? am i right in thinking that my results will therefore be good news? i am getting more worried the close i get to my appointment date.

Hi Margie it's hard to say as hospitals and consultants work in different ways.Some if there is a problem will contact you sooner.Do you have a nurse Specialist ? If you do it maybe worth contacting them as they are usually very helpful and maybe able to tell you your results or at least ease your worries.The waiting is always the hardest I think I wish you well and hope you get good results and I'm sorry I don't have the answers Cruton xxx

Hi Marg

Dont wait if you are worried you should not wait just ring the hospital and ask them they will tell you they wont mind you ringing do it today.
