WLE & reconstruction surgery Feb12

Less than one minute read time.
In ward bed with catheter + Drain from wound and withOUT pain. Typed a lot earlier but it disappeared. Summary. Arrived 7.30 am. Op about 10.30. Recovery room about 1.30. I have to lie flat NOT sit right now as it puts pressure on the pedicle where the skin has been rotated. Getting home criteria according to my surgeon are for him to see me walking, for drain to be no longer needed and wound to be healing OK. One unexpected thing is an ache both sides of my spine. Dr says its probably musco-skeletal from position during op. painkillers have seen it off anyway :) I have a morphine button if I need to use it but the nurse gave me some oral painkillers and anti inflamatories cos I don't have any real pain - unless i move wrong! Not sure why my fingers are numb but I will inquire Lymph nodes are OK so far and will be checked again in 3 months, maybe using ultrasound and a needle biopsy
