Well it's now the middle of September and Dad is feeling good. He seems to have found some new vigor from somewhere! He's back to walking around the park like he used to before the diagnosis. He's also managed some light shopping on his own which is helping his self esteem.
His weekly visits to the day centre have given him a new interest to talk about although he seems to moan about having to wait to be dropped off home at the end of the day. I do ask him what he needs to rush home...
My Amazing Dad passed away at 6.15pm on Tuesday 17 September. He was at home surrounded by his family...just as he wanted. This blog post may be upsetting to some so I apologise if it is but I need to get everything from the last week or so written down.

My dad was diagnosed with final stage pancreatic cancer at the beginning of Aug and has been given a timescale from between 8 - 12 weeks. He has lived in Spain for the last 26 years. My mum passed away from liver disease only a year and a half ago and I know we have all struggled to come to terms with that before receiving this other horrible blow. My dad now lives in Spain on his own so between myself and...

It is going well for me for the time being. if i feel a bit sick i pop in a few ginger cubes w/o sugar and it stops the feelings. i am taking besides my usual meds all my natural supplements. added pomegranates and turmeric with piperine and bio-25 too. all to help the body cop with the chemo. i am eating well light stuff, nothing heavy like rice or potatoes or meet or chicken. i eat graines and pulses and vegetables. i bought today...
i feel great
trying to doze off. my tummy hurts a bit,
i have taken ginger in tea and dry ginger helps the tummy to calm down a bit
didnt eat heavy, drank plenty of water.
had tablets pomegranate extraxt, curcuma extract, and bio-25 probiotics
