    5 of 6 completed!
Hi all, just reporting that as of friday, 5 of 6 chemos completed! whoopee- the end is in site, bloods were ok after my panic which actually was the start of shingles- done and dusted now. I also found my CA125 from cycle 4, which was down to 8, after starting at mid 30 after the op, so I guess its working, so I am sure not complaining about the side effects at the moment ( give me a while- I will!) I cant believe its nearly over, still got the avastin ongoing, but hell, it cant be as bad as with...

So there are other IBC patients out there!
I know IBC is rare and at first I couldn't find any others on this site! I really thought I might be the only one!! Of course I'm sad that others have this shitty thing-but from a selfish prospective it is comforting and less isolating-I hope that comes over in the right way! I hope I can offer support to others, I do feel for those who are newly diagnosed-its terrifying enough to learn that you have BC let alone a rare, fast growing aggressive kind! It certainly takes some getting used to-if ever...

Sometimes we overlook the most obvious things...
Today is Sal's CT prep day ahead of radiotherapy starting next week. I had been due to go with her as I have all her other appointments but instead I'm at the office - but with good reason. I think I've been guilty of being more than a little self-absorbed, of not seeing past her, myself and my kids and in doing so lost sight of how many people this has all affected. When I got home from work last night and asked her about timings and travel plans for today I sensed there was something she wasn...

    Moles!
Hi guys! I am wondering if anyone can tell me,does a mole have to be dark in colour for it to be melanoma??this might sound like a daft question but when i saw the dermatologist when i was having my first mole removed she said that she would generally only be concerned if a mole was dark in colour. I had another mole that i asked her to check on my stomach which she said was fine as it was light in colour, however this mole has increased in size it is a lightish colour with dark flecks through it...

    HELP & ADVICE PLEASE
My mum has been to christies yesterday (Wed) for her 2nd course of chemo, as we live in Crewe she has transport to pick her up, this time i was not allowed to travel with her as they cannot alway accomodate passengers. I did expect that when she arrived they would help and assist her to get to Ward 5 etc, but this was not the case, she was left at the door and expected to find her own way, since last Sept she has been unwell and mainly now cannot remember things and her legs are always swollen so...
