Ok have my wonderful appointment at the 'One stop gynae diagnostic clinic' - sounds like some sort of supermarket.
Can not face breakfast and tummy has decided that it would like to empty - at least they should get a better look this time then lol!!
I did sleep last night so that was a plus - do not look quite so awful/bride of frankenstein like.

Mo had a good day yesterday as well as a busy one,she got up for morning meds & had some breakfast,always a good start.My mum came around in the morning about 11ish to see us and help me change the bed.Mum fancied some KFC so I popped out to get some as well as some other bits of shopping I needed.Mo got up again and had a piece of chicken & some fries and stayed up for about an hour and a half and then went back to bed.The Hospice @ Home nurse turned up a little later to see how we were,just routine...
Went out today on my own while Paul stayed at home 'sitting'Mo,didn't like it just seemed wrong.I know it sounds strange it was just because Mo should be here and she wasn't I got quite emotional & slightly tearful.WE should be drinking a cup of tea outside the cafe and not just ME,WE should be walking around poundstretchers discussing what colour new fitted sheets we should get not just ME.It was very hard to find something to do instead of just 'treading water' waiting for the time to pass quicker...
Yesterday Social Services came up to do a care assessment on Mo & a carers assessment on me.Very nice lady unfortunately can't remember her name,we have had so many people visiting for one reason or another remembering names has been hard.After giving her all the history from day dot about whats been happening to Mo we managed to make some care arrangements.Someone will be coming in three times a week,Mon,Weds and Fri to help Mo have a wash,wash her hair if needed and maybe get her in the bath.We...
over the coming weeks commecing on the 28th june im having a stem cell transplant and will be keeping a diary on this blog! one to kill the boardom and two to keep a record of my day to day events to help others to understand what happens who are to go down this road......

Bit of a set back today after having my medical and PET scan on monday, was told today that my donor was not able to donate at this time, so its back to the drawing board to find another...
Hi everyone, just thought I would let you know that a stem cell donor has been found for my husband and it appears to be a 100% match! The next chapter of our journey begins on 20th October with the pre-transplant chemo in order to kill all his own stem cells. The donor cells will be transplanted on Thursday 27th October a big day!!!!! wanted to share this news with you all. Much love, Julia xxxx
It was 3 years ago today that Bert was diagnosed with his AML. he fought hard struggled through his chemo which caused all sorts of problems. He achieved remission and we were delighted. Its my son's birthday today. He is 20. Now I don't quite know how I ever got old enough to have a 20 year old and that is kind of scary to think I am, even if I was quite young when I had him, I am not grown...

i am still with lymphoedema and probably always will be but its managed with support garment and painkillers and moisturiser.... not nesessarily in that order
work is busy and it keep my mind off other things... bought a little smart car off a colleague and love it and it helps me to get to st albans to see mum and dad every other weekend.
keeping up with 3 monthly check ups at the MM clinic and the lymphoedema...
