hey,
my sister had her hysterectomy and glands in her groin removed today. I just spoke to her, she sounds terrible :(
It was strange, earlier when I spoke to her, before she went down to theatre, I felt really emotional.
This is going to sound awful, I didn't know I cared so much. It has been hard for us, growing up in different foster homes and I often doubt my own feelings, don't trust them. In a way it is a relief to feel so bad for her...
She had totally underestimated the pain...
First off I hope to god I can post a photo in here as I think you all need to see it!
I can see all your beautiful faces staring at the screen back at me! (I'm waving, keep smiling this nut job will be done soon) lol.
I got back from a weekend with my fiance yesterday, decided I would test the waters before I go away for 10days to Belfast. I came back and mum was actually on her feet feeling quite ok. Although still having some trouble with pain so will be getting that sorted before I leave...
Breast cancer. What can I write about this horrible illness that hasn’t already been written? I don’t know, neither do I know if what I write will help anyone, or if anyone will identify with my words, but I think it will help me if I put the words down in black & white.
Everyone remembers their diagnosis. I was told when I was on my own - I’d been told by an Irish doctor the previous week that she was convinced the lump was a cyst, she even had three attempts at bursting...
Hello fellow Macademia Nuts. What a weekend! having had op on Monday and being sent home on Tuesday with - 'everything is fine you will be a new woman' after this etc. etc. I had a few days of getting over the op - but on Thursday - silly me slipped and fell in shower resulting in lovely purple colourings on side and arm and a little jolt to tummy - which is rather tender to say the least.
Seems to be Ok - I thought a little sore but hey back to work on Monday for me as it only takes a few...
Wow! Ok, So i have never done this before... so not sure how this 'blogging' thing works, and i must admit.. i am not the strongest writer, so... so I'm just gonna write what i want to say.
Ok, so my mother who is 56 years of age, was officially diagnosed with Cholangiocinoma (still can pronounce it!) on the 15th September....pretty rubbish right?!...and it still doesn't quite feel real yet!
It all started back in June when my mother noticed that every time she ate food she had quite...

The weather in Middlesbrough is just awful but I suspect it's cloudy, windy and rainy in just about all parts of the UK today! Walked the Rockstar down to Mumsy's for breakfast (the dog's not mine) and Gordy was still in bed. He is going to the hospital with Dougy this morning as Dougy is going to get the results of the nine biopsies taken from his stomach a week and a half ago! (Really healthy my family...
So my baby brother comes home from the hospital. We are all still in shock and I wonder where the tears continue to come from. And the anger - oh my the anger is tearing me to pieces. When will it leave me I try to be calm when I am around others but I scream myself hoarse when I am alone.
BB has continued to upset people. She has tried to infiltrate (believe me there is no other word for it) my brother's friends and is driving them crazy. I finally realise that this woman does not have any...
