    Roller Coaster
Here we are at the beginning of week 3 of Chemo. I suppose generally everything is going great. We had a bit of a dip this weekend as everything hubby ate went straight through his system. I stopped juicing.... He's just not good at being ill probably because he's hardly been ill in his life. The past couple of days started off ok but then everytime he had a meal he developed cramps in his stomach (no nausea) and so although he had a good appetite he was put off eating as he knew he was going to...

    liver cancer
Hello, My dad has been told he has a 9cm mass on his liver and that there is no treatment he can have. He is still awaiting a biopsy. He has been told it is his choice if he wants to have a biopsy. He has been told that they suspect the cancer has come from the melanoma he had 18 months ago. How can they know that without him having a biopsy? I know My Mum is worried that having a biopsy could make my Dad feel unwell.....has anyone had one and can tell me how they felt afterwards ? Thankyou so...

    LOST
My husband passed away on the 23 June. We were fighting this battle together since last year November. Both of us being diagnose a month apart was'nt easy. He suffered so much, but his in a better place. Now I'm focusing on my health and my little children. God has carried me up till now, to care and nurse him at home, and He will carry me forward. I just miss him so so much

Our Wedding Anniversary [this should be happy, but feeling so sad]
Our Wedding Anniversary is on Tuesday 14th July and I know I should be feeling so happy. Especially as we have been together now for 32 yrs. It really now is hitting home that this time last year we hardly had a care in the world and now I feel that I am dreaming and I am going to wake up from this terrible dream my family and I are in, but no this is not going to happen. All along I have told people yes I understand what is happening and yes I am coping with everything, but now I am approaching...

Hearing the words Cancer being said for the first time
This is my first time at writing a blog, I guess i';m writing this in the hope of writing down all the questions and feelings which I hold inside. I know that people are here to support but there are somethings which I don't know how to explain. I hope that this is a way for me to answer or calm down my own mind. For those of you reading this, if this is incoherent, I'm sorry.... So firstly the background, the story.... My father was brought into hospital last Friday 3rd July for breathing...

    End to Remission
Sorry to bore you all but there is nowhere to get my disappointment off my chest. Having had a kidney reomoved 2 years ago I thought I would be ok for quite a while. After 42 years of marriage it has been such a bombshell. Does anybody know how long one waits to see an oncologist? My wife will have to say goodbye to her home and garden as she will not be able to afford to stay on with reduced pensions. This has all added to the disappointment. On a positive note there might be a further line of defence...
