    Brain Tumor
Hoping that someone can help me with a problem I have having at the moment. I started seeing a lovely guy. He recently told me he has an incurable brain tumor, he said the type was COED and it was an unusual type that a small number of people in the world had. He is attending the neurosurgery department in hospital and having it monitored with regular MRI scans, has had 4 surgeries to have it removed but because of its location in his cerebellum at the back of his head, it cannot all be taken away...

    Holidays and more holidays!!
Just got back from a week in Cornwall, which was fantastic. You wouldn't believe it but Clive was body boarding in the sea with me and the boys, it was fab to see him really enjoying himself and with much more energy. He is still eating well again and says he feels fitter than he has been for ages. He is thinking about going to Las Vegas as he has always wanted to go, and he can meet up with lots of American friends he has made through work at the same time. Of course he will have to take me along...

    gearing up
'Lo All, Fairly quiet day today. Wrapped a load of stuff back up to return and as kids had a rehearsal this afternoon, I took myself off to Teesside Park - my last solo drive for months :( I like driving - I like having a stereo to myself! It was chucking it down all day today which means that you need to keep an eye on the ford which runs across the bottom of our road - it rises and falls pretty fast. I didn't really fancy walking all the way back in the rain. Anyway, it was OK so went and ran...

    good feelings
Today I woke up with a great attitude. Now that I do understand everything with my situation and my dr.'s decisions I feel so much better. Reading some blogs I see how everyone is dealing with all of this. I know I will have down time at times. I feel fortunate to have 3 little girls to keep my mind busy and going forward. This will hang over our heads for life. However, the hardest time is at night laying in bed trying to sleep. The crazy thoughts that run through my mind goes on forever...

    Chemo
We only got the diagnosis today and are trying to get enough info to decide whehter to go for chemo or not-radio not offered. I notice that most of the contributors seem to have gone for chemo when offered. Have any of you declined this and if so how long since your diagnosis and how are you feeling. Do any of you know of a support group in or near the West Lothian area in the next week-willing to travel. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone I'm not a grey anymore, after trying to upload a foto for days I called in youngest daughter and asked her help. Her hands moved over the keyboard at the speed of light and here I am. Do you recognise the John Travolta pose? Middle daughter took the foto (shes arty), I wanted to make some fun thankyou cards to send to the radiographers and ward staff at Preston where I was treated (and also all our lovelly friends who'v given such caring support). Thought It would be nice for them to...

    counting the days
I am counting down the days now till wednesday to get the results of my neck lumps aspiration. I think about it all the time . 5 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer . I went through most of it on my own. It was the hardest thing I had to go through but have been well for 3 years. I went to live in spain last year to have a better quality of life and everythhing possible that could go wrong did go wrong . I lost every penny I went with after selling my house. I came back in June to start...
