All too soon it was back in for the 3rd and final dose of IVE which means being hooked up to a drip from Wednesday to Sunday. Just a case of sitting it out really - no sickness a bit of nausea at first. It’s just a slog really because they have to test your urine for blood all the time and you’re woken up for observations and changing bags over during the night. By the end of the week I’m just really tired. So nothing to whinge about at all really, haha. I was doubly pleased that they’d got it...
I know my blogs are not a patch on other peoples but its nice to be able to put some things down.
I have just come back from the rememberance service at our local War Memorial and my cancer now seem so trivial, it puts things into perspective.
Also my wife has had the all clear again after her annual check up. Gill had breast caancer about 10 years ago and after removal of the offending lump and radio therapy she has consistently had good reports. But at the back of your mind you do wonder if the...
Hi All, Hope you’ll forgive me, I need to get the gist of this down for future reference… Well in the last blog, I was just going back in for ‘observation’ whilst neutropenic. By the way, I’ve just found out that the Japanese predict personality, romantic...

In July when i expressed my concerns about my thoughts of progression of my grandads condition (ie, he was more tired and sleepy, more unstable on his legs, he had blood spots apearing on his skin, sometimes short of breath...

Seizure
I’m all right. I have more highs than lows, it comes and goes. Walkin’ down the street with aching feet and my antique laptop, in a strop. Started a fit that didn’t fit; it just kinda hung. I didn’t have time for it or to sit on the floor for more so I kept on walking, and talking to myself for good health. One foot in front of the other. What a mother! People stare, in a blur, but I only care about her; my kid in school’s no fool………………...
