Sorry I haven't posted anything for 3 weeks.
I was whisked in on 2nd December as there haed been a cancellation so my op was brought forward 4 weeks.I was in for 2 weeks as I picked up infection so was on intra-veinous anti-biotic and all the side effects that brings.
So I am back home sore and very tired but at home with my new little appendage.
Too tired write more when I can

Still haven't heard when I am getting my Urostomy, surely it must be in the next 2 weeks.
Can anyone who has been thro' this tell me how long the op takes and how long will I have to stay in hospital.

I have just come back from the rememberance service at our local War Memorial and my cancer now seem so trivial, it puts things into perspective.

Just had a visit from my stoma nurse, she stayed 2 hours left lots of leaflets and helped me with all my questions and also ones I hadn't asked.
As a result I am going for the urostomy will contact hospital tomorrow.
Just heard that I am to get a CT scan this Thursday.
