Hi,
I came to the group just over a year ago when my nanna was diagnosed with stomach cancer, we recently started to see a downfall this year and sadly she passed away earlier this week.
Me and my siblings have never experienced any loss like this and we just don't know how to feel, and cope with the difficulty of seeing our nanna the way she was in her final weeks.
Even though her death was expected, we still feel shocked and my granddad who has been left behind just wants to do everything in terms of arrangements and sorting out affairs which is causing non deliberate upset and rifts between some of us. any advice on coping with situations like this
Hi
I am so sorry to hear your sad news This will be such a sad time for you all especially your grandad.
It’s always difficult for families at times like this and everyone copes in different ways . Just try to remember the happy times you shared with your nanna as that’s what her life was not the last few difficult months
Take care xx
Jac
