I’ve been diagnosed with stomach cancer that’s spread to liver and 3 x nodes. I’ve been in pain but my main issue is I’m not really eating I’ve got no appetite and everything I try I struggle with. Today as example it’s nearly 2pm and I’ve had a banana and a nutrition shake.
any advice or help gratefully recieved

Hi Matt77
I'm sorry to read that you're in pain and struggling to eat. Although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
If you haven't already, please speak to your hospital team about the pain you're in and the difficulty you're finding eating. Do you have a CNS (cancer nurse specialist) as they should be your point of contact at the hospital for any problems you're having?
You might find this information from Macmillan about cancer and eating problems helpful.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
