Hi, I'm probably going to say too much but my dad was diagnosed with terminal Acute Myeloid leukaemia - I don't even know how to spell it so hope that right. Alongside side, my father in law diagnosed with prostrate cancer. We are talking about two 80 year old men who were always healthy and unfortunately, were diagnosed just before/within the lockdown. Both are going down fast and we have end of life at home plans. The NHS, my local GP for my dad, have been brilliant. I cannot help but feel shocked by the prognosis, angry that this is happening and then very angry that it is has to happen now, in the middle of this virus. My mum is an angel. They are happily married for couples for 40 years. I am helping, food etc, care - I have to take dad for blood transfusions, he also has dementia, which has kicked in hard. I am heartbroken to be honest. Both dads are good men and they do not deserve such brutal deaths without care. I just want someone to talk to.
