Hi everyone
just need some advice I’m getting so anxious and angry where my nans at she’s passing brown/black watery stools and coughing up brown/black mucus we have been told 1-2 weeks and she’s at end of life but is this a normal effect of the body breaking down?

sorry to hear about your nan, things do sound fairly difficult for her and then the effect it is having on you. In terms of the symptoms you descibe it would be best to talk to the medical team; the one thing we really know if cases can be very different but is is easy to want to see some sign.
Perhaps it might help to talk to one of the staff on the phone line here tel:0808 808 0000 it is open 8am-8pm as i am sure they will be able to offer some support that will help you be the best you can for your nan and while it will never be easy because I can see the love in your words.
