Emotive Song at Christmas

Hi Pooka thank you for sharing this for us here in the forum. Music is very powerful and even more so at this time of year when we think of our loved ones who are no longer with us.

Hi Pooka,

I had a listen. I’m not at all religious but it still made me cry my eyes out. I have done well today, generally no tears during the day. But then got home from my stepdaughters and had more ‘with sympathy’ cards. Such nice words they set me off. Then walked the dog in tears and thought I may as well too it off with a sad song, really get me in the mood.

Sometimes I feel like I try and torture myself on purpose...

Sometimes it's good to let the tears out.. it doesn't change the outcome but it is a release, albeit a brief one.
