Hi, I am just over 6 years bereaved and Just had a visit from some Australian relatives who we had not seen since 2012. My husband passed in 2013. We visited Australia in 1993 to all the family out there and obviously there were lots of photos of our trip which came out yesterday when they visited. I haven’t looked at these photos for a long, long time, but can honestly say it was wonderful to see the marvellous time we had, how happy he was and the love shining out of his eyes. I have looked at them three times on my own since then. Memories are wonderful, but don’t make up for the loss. Wish I could go back to those days. Love to everyone. Xx
How right you are.
Memories and the photographs are so precious.
I'm so pleased you can look at the photos from that trip and see your husband looking so happy.
A time machine would be wonderful
