MY MOTHER THE LADY WHO GAVE LIFE TO ME.........WAS LOVING AND CARING AND HAPPY AS CAN BE........SHE HAD A SMILE THAT COULD LIGHT UP A ROOM........JUST LIKE A FLOWER THATS ALWAYS IN BLOOM........A TRAIL OF HAPPINESS SHE SPREAD ALL AROUND........IN PLACES SHE'D GO WITHOUT MAKING A SOUND........SHE COULD SING LIKE AN ANGEL PERFECT AND CLEAR........A SWEET SYMPHONY THAT WAS LOVELY TO HEAR........THE SOUND OF HER MUSIC WOULD SILENCE A ROOM........AS PEOPLE WENT QUIET TO LISTEN TO WHOME........MUM WAS...
on that very sad day all those years ago
you often wondered if the pain would go
you went into labour and gave birth to my brother
it was only right then you began to discover
the pain in your heart when you lost your child
that deep burning pain that drove you so wild
you suffered the loss that only you quiet knew
and had to listen so patient to everyones view
when you look back you regret what had been
you woke from your sleep just to hope it a dream
but then on that day you fell pregnant a...
Having had a 'scab' in my (very blond) hairline for about a year, which I enjoyed picking - who wouldn't - but became quickly ashamed of when it bled and took me back to being a spotty teenager, I finally got to the doctor about 4 weeks ago. Had a baby 18 months ago and had so many 'complications' following that, adding a scabby forehead to my long list of ailments was too embarrassing - I don't want to spend my life seeing the doctor - I hate the feeling I get when I go as if they are saying, not...
Well, I knew things were going downhill before I went to the onc 2 weeks ago. I walked in and he took one look at me and said 'Do you want that drained?' It was so apparent..... so gave me the presription for the new chemo, which I take at home for 10 days, and tried to arrange an asicities drain. I did say last time I ended up with a chest infection, so could I have a presription for natibiotcs 'just i n case'. We don't work that way, you'll have to see your Gp if you have the symptons...
Right well here I am , 4 days post mastectomy and axilla node clearance, sat at my daughter'sdining room listerning to the rain bounce off the conservatory roof and how do I feel!!!!!
sore, stiff , shell shocked and eternally grateful that the surgery went well and i am one (small) step closer to being back to me . According to the surgeon the operation went very well with no nasty surprises and they removed 3.2 Kg !!!!!!! of breast tissue, i've never lost that much in a week before. I have...
I don't know if I should be positive. As I have said previously, the doctor said her type responds well to chemo but it is my mum. Everyone else tells me to stay positive but my mum keeps telling me to think the worst. My nan is having a bad day today and not really eating and she is fed up. Should I be glad the chemo has a good chance at working and hope for the best? Or should I think the worst?

you are always there to listen when i need you
you almost feel the pain that im going through
when no one else seemed to recognise
you always stop as though you despise
to see a little girl feeling lost and alone
you wished that you could take me home
to give me a hand when things were rough
cause you somehow noticed that im not tough
you tell me how you really care
and that me and you will always share
the feelings we keep so close in our heart
even the most painfull that will never depar...
