    Possibility

Well we went to the Clinic today and finally his liver function is coming down to the level they think they want so hopefully they will be able to get his chemotherapy on Thursday fingers crossed.  We will find out more on Wednesday when we go back to the clinic.

The only thing that is worrying me is that Clint is looking so forward to the Chemo starting i am just afraid that when he gets it he will not be that happy!! They told him that he will definately lose his hair but i suppose that is a temporary...

Up until the end of last month everything was fine having recently celebrated my 50th birthday, work is busy but enjoyable. What do I do ?

Ok was diagnosed with CC in Dec 09 and had a radical hysterectomy in Jan 2010,since then I seem to be having one problem after another, CT scans and waiting for results, my last check up the nurse suggested that i see a councellor. What do I do ? I am a strong person who feels that  I do not need to see a counsellor I feel embarassed that she even suggested this my husband thinks that this will help, but help what ?

    Depressed and tired
I read other people's blogs with interest but have never created one of my own - until now. I will be having my 4th FEC75 this coming Tuesday and I guess all-in-all am not suffering that much and just feel very pathetic. The worst difficulty I have is this incredible 'heaviness' and exhaustion - I can quite happily rest for what is probably most of the day - I get up to do something then become so tired and unsteady that I rest - often waking up a few hours later! My head seems permanently 'muzzy...

The Widow Vibe: Pink Platforms and resisting the ‘Three Year Wall.’

A long silence from Cold Comfort Cottage, I know, but I have been slowly working up to saying a farewell to my Mac friends who have helped me through the very worst.
It was – literally - a life ago that I began this blog.  I was tentatively reaching out to the Mac world.  Blogs?  What were blogs?  I didn’t really know and got into all sorts of trouble because I questioned the motives of those who felt the desire to let in all spill out into the cyberspace. (Do any of you remember?)...

    T1NOMO

Found out I had a T1NOMO on left lateral border of my tongue last November, lost about a qtr of my tongue following laser surgery and 5 months on can speak (with a lisp) and swallow ok now. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has had this. I'm now being monitored for any signs of metstastic spread. Concerned about nausia bouts that started a couple of weeks ago and fatigue. Its so frustrating having so much to do and having to fight for the energy to complete the simplest of tasks. Strange...
