This is my first time on the Macmillan website and I have just came to meet people of similar circumstances.I'm undergoing my 3rd chemo which I had this weekend and this time didn't go to bad as last time was rotten ,I am looking forward to my energy levles coming back as i like to run when i'm good.Anyone elase like to run?

Very new to this and not quite sure how it will work, I am looking for some advice and support as i am trying to come to terms with my Mums breast cancer, she has just had her second lot of chemo (on Friday) but was hospitalised with sepsis after the first dose in week two. Consultant gave her the option to give up the treatment as there is a risk it may happen again but she refused and is carrying on. I am finding it really hard to see her unwell, she has never been poorly, i'm an only child...

Joining a community online for whatever reason is something I always find challenging as following the seemingly idiot proof instructions on how to register and participate in that community usually involves having to overcome several mental blocks because for some reason I often fail to see the obvious.
What is simple and staightforward for many really is very difficult for others--unless it's broken down into child like instructions and numbered...

After finally returning to work 3 months after my first plaque therapy treatment, a second tumour diagnosed, and yet more radiotherapy treatment. Another 8 weeks off work and have to go back. Really not looking forward to returning to work, my eye still painful but at least I have a job to go back to! Please let this be the last radiotherapy treatment - next step is removal of my eye if it doesn't work. I can't bear to think about that
Ugh... chemo is yuk. day 6. 8 days more of thees tablets + i can hav a rest. Fink the anti-sickness r finly workin. But my tummy is sor from bein sik + so is my froat, so wen i cough it herts a lot. Got my haircut today tho, kept getin in my way wen bein sik!
Barts hav agreed to c me... no promis of gamma but step in the riyt way.
I feel lyk all i do is sleep... am so tiyrd.
I hayt chemo.... it beta b workin coz i gotta do 5 mor of thees cycles, wiv a chemo spine injection nex tym... owch.

Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma, and informed I would have my left kidney removed. I am still in shock and am finding it difficult to find much written about TCC. At the time of the surgery my consultant said that my paraortic lymph nodes were enlarged and removed, this was all intially equally worrying, but he has since said the cancer did not spread to these. I have a meeting with an Oncologist on Monday and feel very nervous, this is the beginning of a journey...
Ha ha ha.. can't get rid of me that easily.... ! Ok, I know I said bye already... but... you know me.... and Tigghogg was getting up a petition and I was worried it might be misread and you'll petition for Wing Commander John and Colonel Christine to not let me back in again....and...
