Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma, and informed I would have my left kidney removed. I am still in shock and am finding it difficult to find much written about TCC. At the time of the surgery my consultant said that my paraortic lymph nodes were enlarged and removed, this was all intially equally worrying, but he has since said the cancer did not spread to these.
