After finally returning to work 3 months after my first plaque therapy treatment, a second tumour diagnosed, and yet more radiotherapy treatment. Another 8 weeks off work and have to go back. Really not looking forward to returning to work, my eye still painful but at least I have a job to go back to! Please let this be the last radiotherapy treatment - next step is removal of my eye if it doesn't work. I can't bear to think about that

Hi Lush, I sincerely hope the latest bout of radiotherapy has done the trick and you do not have to lose your eye.

This is a bloody horrible, devastating disease.

Hi Lush,

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a successful radiotherapy outcome. Christine is right, this is an awful, vile disease but keep fighting and don't let it get the better of you. Keep us posted on how you get on and I hope your return to work goes better than you're expecting! Love Vikki xxx
