Hi all.i would like a bit of advice.my husband had bowel cancer in 2015, it got to his liver last year which was burnt in an procedure.now he as been told he a a shadow on his lung.? We are both in shock.thought we had beaten it.my husband also has a massive hernia in his stomach.which again is on hold.it is getting him down. I write this the night before I say goodbye to my cervix. Tomorrow it is being removed via a rather brilliant surgical piece of equipment and a rather brilliant surgical procedure. I had a real 'down' day yesterday, cried lots and kept wanting to just shout 'WHY?' at the top of my voice. Stupid thought I know, but I want to know what's going to happen next - although deep down, I'm sure I'll be recommended for chemo. First day today with the chemo to hopefully cure my leukaemia. I have chosen to do the clinical trial as that should give me the best odds. I now cancelled is rough but I am looking on the bright side off life.

I got my appointment to go for scan pretty quick after my heamotolggy appointment where I had full bloods taken, 8 viles to be precise.
Had an appointment for 19:20pm which was really handy as it meant I didn't have to miss work. I was told to lay with my arms above my head whilst it took place which was pretty uncomfortable but it never took long so I didn't mind.
