So I had all my scans and, at my consultant meeting on 15th April, it was confirmed that there is no sign of cancer anywhere else - yippee.
The decision has been that I need a mastectomy with full axillary node removal and reconstruction, only problem is the local NHS unit cannot fit me in for surgery until June - really????

omg, time has passed and it doesnt rain, but it pours., not only was i diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, where the medication fu me up, My chrohns diseased flared up badl, and then I got heart failure ie atrial fibluation, fluttery heart, and fluid filled lungs. I am very slowly improving, but feeling very depressed, husband cant understand why im not gwetting better, and want to sleep all the time, and not eat.

We were in the DayWard for a long time. Nurses came in and took bloods for different blood tests. The oncologist came to insert a bladder catheter. They put Paul on bag after bag of fluids. And they put him on antibiotics. I held Paul's hand, stroked his arm, stroked his forehead and spoke to him gently telling him that I loved him, that we were getting help now and that everything would be all right. . He seemed to be aware of his surroundings but too weak to actually engage with anyone or anything...
This one came to me at 3am this morning. I am not entirely certain if it was one of those crazy dreams - I guess we’ll find out if it makes any sense at the end!
