I'd like to talk to people in Scotland regarding cancer diagnoses whether it be themselve or if they are a carer as I now find myself.
My husband has always been quite healthy appart his Chrohns of which he has had since childhood, needless to say he never complains, when he was diagnosed end September last year even then I couldn,t believe how he has dealt with this. I find people in this situation totally amazing their courage and the way they just try to keep such a positive attiitude is fantastic...

The time has come that i have been dreading for months, my beloved dad has gone,and i feel my heart has been ripped out, all my friends in chat have been with us helping,supporting, caring,advising, just being there when needed, when ever i switched on someone was there,i could not have done this without the support i have recieved from the special friends i have made. Mum is now in hospital - she's been in since Tuesday evening....she had deteriorated very quickly and is now struggling to breathe - they are trying to make her as comfortable as possible - but its just so hard watching her.

Sadly Colin past away peacefully yesterday morning, Colin was the bravest man i have ever met, and i was lucky enough to be granted permission to marry his Daughter 10 years ago, we gave him 3 Grand children and he loved spending time with them. RIP Colin you will be sadly missed by so many people.. I'm so sorry i have to give out this news..
Hi new to this so sorry if im inthe wrong place.
My mum has just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer which has metastised to the brain. The oncologist, who suggested that mum may only have weeks left here (although i have no idea how long weeks is) is not going to give any treatment apart from steroids to reduce the swelling. She also had a major stroke 5 years ago which has left her relatively blind - only sees shadows and faces up close and a little confused - but can understand everything...
Well i dont really know what im feeling at the moment but strong isnt one of them. One minuite im ok the next im crying then shouting and ranting so im just up and down. Im ok when im busy organising everything. I decided to do some washing today and found some clean clothes of pops what i had washed last week from the hospital and that was it the floods come again. I just cant seem to get my head around things and find that fight what ive always had in me. The worst part is missing my pop and caring...
Well, I've never blogged in my life but I have suddenly got the urge at 1.45 in the morning! I don't know if I even have cancer, but I am in that frightening wirlwind of tests and results that is the diagnosis journey. Hi all,
Havn't been on for a while, hope everyone made the most of Christmas and New Year.I'm getting radiothrapy as well as chemo tablets so I decided to stay T.T. over the festive period. I've had my medication changed and I am now getting a sleep most nights, (don't know if the radiotherapy is causng it but its great).I finish radio and chemo on 28th Jan then its more scans and hopefully tumour will be reduced enough for surgery. Don't mean to sound depressing as at least there is hopefully...
