    Confused

    Hi all, feel such a numpty cos I computer illiterate but find myself coming back to the site time and again cos would really love to speak to someone going through the same experience but dont really understand how to access it lol. Have been diagnosed with two morphoeic one nodular and one superficial bcc's. Had two removed a couple of weeks back and still feel incredibley sore. Am going to have a chat with mohs surgeon in a couple of weeks but dont know if I am up for surgery feel really foolish...

    so today my best friend told me  her and her boyfriend are going to buy a house.. as her best friend i should be jumping for joy being happy for her.. but instead im jealous and wishing it was me instead... after our convo i go back to the hospital and my boyfriends lying there trying hard not to be sick! he had his liver operated on 3 days ago and he's really nausiated and unwell :( they cut a big chunk from the middle where the two tumors were and glued the two sides together.. he also had his gallbladder...

    Bad news

    How are you supposed to be when your told someone you love is going to die and there is notthing the doctors can do about it?

    we were told yesterday that the cancer is too advanced and that there is nothing more the doctors can do. They have withdrawn all medication and fluids apart from his pain relief, so now its just a waiting game.

    The Doctor told us that the cancer was so aggressive that chemo didn't work and my dad had a cancer that would not have responsed to radiotherpy.

    laryngectomy carer for my mum

    hi my mum under went a total laryngectomy operation in feb also she had to have her thyroid gland removed , also also part of her tummy removed and her osophergus pulled up and stitched in her neck . this was a life changing operation for mum .

    i am just amazed how well she is doing as its only been 4 mths since the op . her diet has changed as she can only manage to eat tiny meals as her tummy has been made smaller . she has lost alot of weight but the doctors said she will put some back on once...

    Well in four weeks, i have been told i have bladder cancer, went through TURBT op and am now recovering at home. Waiting for histology and treatment plan as are many people on this site so I know I am not alone..  I have had quite a positive attitude to my news most of the time but of course have had a few "wobbles" now and then. I was taken aback when my consultant told me this could return again and again, was not prepared for that, hence I did not ask him questions about my op., which i now have...

    A little rant

    Just ignore this post. Just needed to get this out of my system.

    My sister came round on Wednesday evening and said that some of the people who we used to do Ten Pin bowling with have been asking after how David is, and suggested that he come up to the bowling alley to say hello.

    The league we bowled in start at 10pm at night, we have 3 young children who at the latest stay up till 9pm (except on new years eve). I would have to take them and David. Also David's walking is not very good, and he really...

    Update

    David is on 3mg, his headache is hardly noticeable (he tells me). He can manage the toilet on his own. His appetite is good too.

    To be honest, if you saw him you proberbly wouldn't think anything was wrong with him, until he gets up and has a little wobble to the toilet.

    He does get problems with short term memory and word recall, but his speech isn't slurrey.

    down hill fast

    Well, I know my cancer is fast growing, but this week has been like going down a steep slide, I have got breathless so fast.  No word from the hospital, but I shall chase them next week as things have gone so quickly here. Last Saturday I walked round the show at Newbury, but this Friday it is as  much as I can do to get up and go to the loo without having to recover afterwards.  My chest  has been so tight, and I have had pains in lots of different places, I just feel cold, and tired  all the time.  Any...

    my boyfriend had the middle part of his liver taken out last night, and the two halves glued together... he's still in ICU and is very sleepy.. he wont really wake up and is on a very strong pain killer starting with K.. cant think of the name! im so worried :( he wont talk and is just lying there.. has anyone else experienced this? he had major bowel operation six weeks ago to remove his bowel tumor.. but  he ended up with a permanent colostomy which wasnt intended :( he's just been through so...
