Well in four weeks, i have been told i have bladder cancer, went through TURBT op and am now recovering at home. Waiting for histology and treatment plan as are many people on this site so I know I am not alone.. I have had quite a positive attitude to my news most of the time but of course have had a few "wobbles" now and then. I was taken aback when my consultant told me this could return again and again, was not prepared for that, hence I did not ask him questions about my op., which i now have to wait till my next appt., to find out. Just resting now apart from "pelvic floor" exercises, boy! do they hurt!
I have my own business and I really have to thank my family for all their support and kindness and for stepping into cover for me at my work.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
