    Tiredness

Never knew that worrying could be so exhausting. Wow it is wearing me out!!!

I think I will now write it as my occupation as I seem to spend the majority of my time doing it. i don't get paid to do it - this is all for free. No bonus or overtime even though i do it outside mormal office hours - this is not just 9-5 woryying you know this is 24/7 - boy am i committed - and probably will be.

I may even go for another degree in worrying - i could write essays on it a dissertation even.

    wibbly wobbly

Having a little sob on the phone last night with P and then chatting on phone with lovely Lynne cheered me up and I went to bed happier, and also didn't have an odd dream for a change. Well, actually, my dreams are ALWAYS vivid, but recently they have been bit gory too. I think the shock and the physical stuff/being manhandled etc is coming out..?

Anyhoo, woke up feeling a lot brighter this morning, can feel the little wibble just under the surface but am partly putting that down to the...

12.11.11 today's thoughts re what next

Writing this down for my own sanity, hoping that if I see things in black and white, I might order my thoughts and know how to progress! Not sure if I should contact my dad's cancer specialist direct to ask the questions that i would like answered (and feel remain unanswered after dad's visit to him).  It's all such a waiting game and I feel frustrated just to be an onlooker and not be able to help in any way. Also, don't feel as though I should take over but feel I need as much information...

    Week 5 of Radiotherapy

I have had 7 months of hormone therapy, 8 weeks of Bicalutamide then on to Prostap injections 2 weeks before finishing the Bicaluamide. Also on Cyproterone Actetate tablets and Taladafil. I actally fely great before starting the Radiotherapy, to the point that I alsmost forgot I was ill. I was not quite as energetic as once I was but a huge improvement on the year before diagnosis.

I promise to be suitably sympathetic to all women with bloated /unpredictable tummies, fluid retention, cystitis, hormonal...

  • Madmadge's life without John
Does anyone else feel like this when they are bereaved?

As a lot of you know, I lost my Beloved John on 22nd August and I feel so lost without him.  I'm scared too because I don't know how I'm going to survive without seeing his face or hearing his voice except in my memory.  I long to feel his arms around me again and his gentle kisses.

I'm going to have to brace myself soon to look through his papers and sort out his estate which I'm dreading.  The darling man did leave a Will so it should be straight forward but it all seems so final...

But can anyone throw me a lifeline and tell me WHEN WHEN I might feel like me again, WHEN I will stop feeling so tired and so exhuasted and WHEN I wont feel so alone at times.  I was...

    A poem for John
    Always Here

    Although I can’t see you,
    I know that you’re here.
    Your memory lives on
    In each silent tear.

    My heart holds you close,
    Remembers the love,
    As your bright shining star
    Looks down from above.

You’re free from all pain now,
    Just waiting for me,
    For when my time comes
It’s your face I will see.

    Smiling a welcome,
    With arms open wide.
    And once more, my Darling,
    We’ll walk side by side.

    Just,,,

Not been on here for a while. My  heads been a bit , ohh i dunno how to describe it. Since the start of this journey, after the initial shock had sunk in...i had felt very up beat and positive ... I know  the worst of it's behind me.. Nearing the end of treatment (Roll on November)  But  these last few weeks all I want to do is cry (I've not given into it cos I know I really have no reason to be this way)

Stupid dreams, about people I've not seen or thought about in years (some going back to...

  • The mysteries of Mo
    September 11th 2011 (pt2)

We had two nurses from the 'Hospice at home'service come to visit today.I wanted them to come because I was worried about Mo's personal hygiene.I'm not saying she was dirty lol I just wasn't too sure that when she had a wash in the morning if Mo was doing a proper job.If you knew Mo before, you would of known she was very particular about her cleanliness, her hair & what she wore during the day.The nurses spoke to me when they got here as mo was resting to get the lowdown but they did have her referral...
