Hey I think this one might be really short (faint swooon) there's a novelty for you! This is about tomorrow really but first:
Today I blew my bag off!
Literally... too many beans and lentils and that and a stomach ache all week culminated in Little My just stepping out of the staffroom to go to her first lesson of the day when... grumble grumble parp! and she blew her bag off... !! diarrhoea and all ! It was quite spectacular and of course her sausages got so excited they popped out to have...
I've c&p'd all this off my front page. There's a big gap where I missed stuff, but it just wouldn't let me update or do anything and the forum was swapping over and I never understood it anyway. So here it is, then I can clear that page and make it look more jolly :)
Hi, I have anal cancer and have just finished 28 sessions of radiotherapy, with an additional 2 weeks of chemo. I now have to wait 6 weeks for the results.
Update 25th October 2009 - I had my checkup and the Doctor...
I hadn't planned to visit Mo today had some things to do yet again down the town and I knew Carol was visiting Mo this morning. I wanted to buy some picture frames today because I had some photos of Mo in the garden at the Day Therapy Centre when they all had strawberries and cream. They were lovely photos of Mo smiling and all dressed up as it was her first visit to the centre and she was really looking forward to it. Happy Days!!. One thing she did say was that she felt a little overdressed on...
have been flitting in and out of the chat room and cannot believe some of the rubbish in there! I thought it would be a good place to get some support from like-minded sufferers but I guess I must be wrong in that assumption! Obviously I don't fit into the group so guess I will have to find some support from somewhere else! Sorry if that sounds very negative but I could have done with some boosting up tonight. Hey ho. onward and upward.
I had good news two days ago, so why do I feel so pants right now?
I can’t really explain it, it’s kind of like an anticlimax. Friends had talked about celebrating when I had good news, but I don’t feel like doing anything now I am in a position to celebrate.
I had two offers last night, a girly night on Friday & an adult only weekend at Butlins in a couple of weeks, and I turned them both down. I made excuses both times because I don’t know how to tell people I no longer feel...
I lost my dad nearly six months ago to lung cancer, only 8 weeks after diagnosis. I live close to my mum but we are two people who rub each other up the wrong way if we spend too much time together and now we're starting to argue and fall out. I get annoyed by the fact that she genuinely doesn't seem to see that anyone else's life has changed but hers, at one point a few months ago she actually turned round to me and said ' well everyone else's life but mine is just carrying on as it was before,...
It seems that the only time I am on site these days I am posting bad news, but wasn't sure if any of you had heard the sad news that Anna John's beautiful wee girl Charly had passed away?
I send my deepest condolences to all of Charly's family and friends. She was one brave, inspirational wee girl. My thoughts are with her lovely family. May she Rest In Peace.
Love, Christine xx
Warning this is a bit lengthy
