Please remember when you commence Chemo Therapy, it effects you or it can effect you, in several ways.  Everybody is different, so therefore it can effect you differently.   Firstly, don't be scared, it's a natural reaction to be scared, so don't worry, the Nurses and other Health care professionals, will look after you.  If you have any questions, ask them, getting some knowledge of how Chemo works, will help you cope.  Remember take it one day at a time, if you feel anxious talk to your nearest and dearest, a trouble shared is a trouble halved.  This also lets those around you know how your feeling, don't keep anything that is bothering you to yourself, talk to hubby, friends etc, this will act two fold, it lets you get what's bugging you out in the open, plus it lets them know, so they can help make the adjustments to make you more relaxed and comfortable.  Use the facilities on the Macmillan Web Site for help aswell.  Use the users on the web site they are just like you.  They have been there and done it.  Plus they understand what your going through, as they have gone through it also.  Everyone on here is helpful and friendly, you will fit in and he one of the crowd, giving you access to more information to assist you.  Welcome, use these facilities you will find, you can put your mind at ease.
