I'm still relatively new to all this and sorry if im jumping the gun a little, im a fit 50yr old Firefighter who got diagnosed last December after a routine check when I became 50, I had and still have no symptoms im gleason 6 and chose to be on Active surveillance after taking advice plus didn't want to have the side effects surgery can bring at only 50. My psa started at 4.38 then 4.63 then 4 then 5.5 now 6.9 so I got a call while I was on holiday asking me to go straight in for an mri in which I was still away for 2 more wk so as soon as I got back I was straight in for it, ive waited a couple of wk and been told today the consultant wants to see me on the 21st Oct. Is this normal even if the scan was no change or does this usually mean there's been a change. My heads telling me it's not good news I just expected a telephone appointment.
