Just an update. My most recent psa is <0.2 ug/l 2 years after treatment ended, down from 10.7 Gleason 7- 4+3 at diagnosis.
I feel well at the moment with little or no side effects from my treatment.
for anyone recently diagnosed with prostate cancer it can be successfully treated.

That's great news Peter r - thank you for a good news post. It is so important to hear these good news stories. Thought the piece in the Times today about the National Prostate Cancer Audit was good news as well, with mortality rates decreasing.....
It is important to know that the light at the end of the tunnel is shining on good news and not necessarily a train coming toward you!
