Just an update - been a long recovery road - hit rock bottom in November and ended up in hospital and having to be tube fed as just gave up eating (not recommended) got sorted, NG tube in for a few weeks, shattered, exhausted tired, Xmas was hard and morphine withdrawal but a rest from work for three weeks over Xmas break made me sleep non stop and gain strength. Slowly getting back to normal, off the supplements and eating again slowly but surely. Appetite is returning along with my energy and feeling so much brighter. Lost four stone in total and slowly feeling myself again. Had 12 week post treatment MRI with CT on Monday and awaiting the results next Wednesday with the oncologist. Not expecting to see anything as didn’t get picked up on scans originally just the biopsy off my tongue when I had the tonsils removed.

Welcome back to the land of the living. So pleased to see you back here. Stick around and lend us a hand. Like Hazel says there are lots of people unfortunately needing help. We seem to be experiencing some sort of Covid Catch-up; either that or people have heard how wonderful this community is.....or maybe both.
