hi . my name is john.. ive had 30 fractions of radiotherapy for larynx cancer and I am back at new cros hospital Wednesday for a scan and I don't think my cancer has gone..we all have to be brave..
Hello John; what is it that makes you think that the treatment hasn't worked?
Oh, and you don't have to be brave at all; it's perfectly OK and normal to be a frightened mass of open nerve endings at times, we're only human.
Metastatic SCC diagnosed 8th October 2013. Modified radical neck dissection November, thirty-five radiotherapy fractions with 2xCisplatin chemo Jan/Feb 2014. Recurrence on larynx diagnosed July 2020 so salvage laryngectomy in September 2020.
