My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa
Hi guys, was here over an hour ago but the doorbell rang and it was George (the painter not the joiner!) and his daughter dropping in for a coffee. They are SO lovely and even though I have no more painting for him to do his family now text me and pop in to see how I am quite regularly.
Lynne - way to go you, of course you were 'top woman'' we will have to get you on Top Gear to give the Stig a run for his money! Well as this is the first weekend I have been home since starting work I am planning to do a heap of housework ........ maybe! Mum and Dad are coming up for Easter so I want it all to look lovely for them, so the plan is to get up-to-date with the ironing etc this weekend then there will only be a little for mum to do when she gets here! teehee. I have been putting a list of odd jobs together for dad to do (most of them I could manage, but he does like to feel he is helping and is USELESS at sitting down or doing nothing ....... I take after my mum who is superbly good at relaxing!).
Lesley you should be so very proud of yourself hun, cooking and making sure that you are eating properly. Hope that you start to feel a bit brighter soon ..... I am sure the shopping will help! Helen, we want photos of Nat's dress when the time comes. Rosemary I think that you are going to busy from here on in til the wedding hun - Sam must be so excited. Sue, I LOVED the text about the meerkat - apart from worrying you stupid, spending all your money and eating you out of house and home when they visit with their washing - Boys are very good at cheering mums up. Gayle, give that wee toot Ewen a hug from me - from the mouths of babes eh hun??
Love to everyone else - I will be back later and will have read everyones posts properly so I can remember what they say, just know that I think of you all each day.
Speak later, loads of love Judi xx
Hello everyone. It's miserable here as well today. I have been catching up on some recorded TV. I am just about to nip out to a garden centre as I have an urge to do some gardening before easter - if the rain stops. I'm going shopping with my son's girlfriend tomorrow afternoon so that is something to look forward to. We will come back in time for my dinner with my neighbour. Lynne you sound like the kitchen problems are getting you down. I hope they get sorted. I need to find out about a water meter don't I? Lesley enjoy your shopping and little Daniel tonight. Good luck with the prom dress shopping Helen. I am finally going to sit down and watch Harry Potter & the half blood prince tonight - better late than never eh? Hi to Sue, Dot, Patricia, Fiona, Rosemary, Dave, Quill, Janice, Teri, Julie, Gayle, Judi, Bren & Manda. (Hope that is everyone!) Have the best day you can everyone. Ailsa xxx

Morning everyone,
Lynne I wasn't too bad - in bed for 3am lol. Still tired though as its been a very busy week. Had a lovely night out last night but feel a bit deflated today. Having quite a lazy day doing ironing and pottering about the house ready for work tomorrow. Weather is nice here too but a bit colder today.
Anyway, hope you all have a nice Sunday.

Hi guys
Was a bit sacred to post yesterday because while you were all suffereing the rain we had the most beautiful day here, so spring like. Was out to the bistro down the road last night with the mums of Boy's friends so the evening was spent telling each other how wonderful our children are!!! The more wine, the more wonderful ... teehee.
Today I was out for lunch - my haven't most of us eaten well this weekend - and a fashion show. I was taken by a lady I used to work with before Boy was even born - in fact Rosemary she is the lady that hires out the hats! Thank God I hadn't gone in my jeans .... no one told me it would be full of 300 of Aberdeen's "Great and Good" as I like to call them! You should have seen some of the outfits - no not at the fashion show, on the people watching! There was no catwalk, they were just wandering around the tables as we ate. One very nice lady at our table stopped one of the girls to ask where the outfit was from and how much it was etc. Nobody at the table quite understood why I was choking in my napkin ...... eventually I was able to explain it was because she wasn't a model, it was just someone on the way to the toilet!! Anyway, so supper cos I am still so full so just a quiet chilling evening.
Helen, I as so glad tha tyou have made an appointment to speak to the consultants. Good luck with the meeting tomorrow. Lynne, do you want to start your Winnebego travelling at the top and pick me up first, or are you starting at Cornwall and getting to me later???
Off to watch the skate off - speak later.
Loads of love to all. Judi xx
Woops ..... wasn't SACRED at all to post - was SCARED!!! J x
