I've managed to rejoin.
Not sure if I've been on once through this Covid nightmare!
I have read all the new posts and felt for everyone who has lost a loved one this year.
It was my husbands 50th Birthday in September and our 3rd birthday without him. We were not able to have any support or family visits, which was incredibly sad for us and I felt we let him down but we couldn't do anything.
I haven't seen my Dad for a whole year and he's now tested positive for Covid, such a worry when we live in different countries. So far he's only had a cough, I hope this is all he gets.
Take care everyone
Hi Ruby Diamond,
I don't come on this site as often as I used to in the early days. Sorry to hear about your dad, with all these restrictions it does make it harder to stay in touch, in person with loved ones.I know an elderly lady that has recently got covid but with no symptoms (she went into hospital after a fall); let's hope it stays that way for her and your dad.
I hope your kids are doing okay.
With lots of love,
Dutsie x
