I’ve just joined the group as sadly my wonderful husband left me yesterday morning. He’d battled prostate cancer for some years but it had grown resistant to all treatments and the last option, Radium 223, had only weakened him. He was admitted to hospital 4 weeks ago with urine retention and his condition deteriorated rapidly during that time due to several infections including covid.
We’d been married 54 years and were very close so I’m feeling choked up and very lonely at the moment, no longer being able to share all the special jokes and memories we’ve made over the years and remembering all the places we were planning to go back to. Life seems very joyless now.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
