I was listening to a radio station playing songs from 1975 the year I meet Rob. He was a police cadet attached to the dog branch.Rex was an old police dog of ours who took no prisoners and Rob was one.Rob was told to get me to take Rex out the van and that’s how I met Rob.I was 15 and in uniform and I thought he was gorgeous- ok I was reading the Jackie magazine!,,-Anyway 6 months later at a party I met him again and the rest is well not how we thought it would end.My children and grandchildren will never forget him because Rob was just Rob.I listened to the songs from ,75 and thought was that us? And yip it was and as stupid and immature as we were I wouldn’t change a thing we had the time of our lives.Rob used to say to our kids “you will never do anything we haven’t done”Is that right Rob???!!
