I've been rather quiet lately, mainly because I've managed to get pulled in a million different directions with work, family and the such; people I think we are gaining some routine!
Anyway, we're now a couple of days shy of 6 months of the knowledge that my body is a factory of cell mayhem and it all seems rather far away now despite still being a part of me now. Very odd!
I turned 27 nearly 2 weeks ago and am about to have a 3rd birthday celebration! If you'd told me in April I'd...
So - I am now on my fourth cycle of vemurafenib. Side effects are not too bad - mainly feet hurting making it hard to walk and of course the queasy feeling and the tiredness...

And of course I'm left with virtually no energy either.
I'm functioning on one level quite well, I'm interacting with people and do feel more...
Today is my first day without radiotherapy, it feels such s relief not to be getting ready to trip of to the hospital although I do feel a bit lost without all those people around.
The main thing that's changed is the increased mucous/ thick saliva that's being produced. There's a lot in my mouth, but I also seem to be coughing up very thick phlegm. I rinsing with salt water and alternating that with capholsol. I have a pint glass with me all the time as my spitting pot and a giant heap of toilet...
