Today is the big day!
OMG its marsden day. Up in the darkness usual dog walk up the lane in the early light. Then tackle the M25. Todays traffic was less than kind. Hold ups everywhere. But we made it. Booked in and wait. *.30 arrives and Mavis gets called in for bloods and fitting a canula.

Today I took my Mum to her wig fitting in Banbury at a place called - Postiche. The ladies who worked there were lovely. We were greeted with a smile and a cup of tea!
The lady who looked after my Mum's appointment was brilliant, she had 20+ years experience as a hairdresser so she knew her stuff.

My husband is recovering from head and neck cancer and is 3 weeks into his recovery. I'm wondering if anyone can give me there story about how long it took for recovery and side effects.
Is it me and my family who are fed up with soaps including cancer in story lines, they and the actors have no idea what we cancer sufferers go through (Ive had cancer three times now) I know they say its educational but its all about ratings, the latest one is a joke terrible acting I know everybody deals with cancer differently but come on writers if your going to put cancer into soaps get it right please..I dont normally write blogs but feel very strongly about this and would like to here what...
My husband started sutent 4weeks ago
just started his first weeks off but the side effects have made him feel really unwell, he had really bad nose bleeds
aches all over which is effecting him walking, bad headaches,sore month and cracked skin and sores. Can anyone tell me if this get better as time goes by he's on 50mg which he takes at night, he is thinking about asking if his dosage can be cut down
Went to my local Friday, to met a dear friend.
I never felt so alone, sat on my own at the end of the bar with a arms length gap around me in a very packed local, of all neighbours, parents of my children's friends and people I've known for years.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I finished my chemo (4 x TC) on 16th February and my radiotherapy finished on 1st April. My hair is starting to grow (hooray) albeit it's not very much yet. However my eyebrows and eyelashes are continuing to drop out. My bottom lashes are gone altogether and the top ones are nearly gone. My eyebrows have also gone very sparse. Is this normal as I thought they would start to grow the same time as my hair

having been dignosed in march and having it confirmed two weeks later. I don't know how i feel about it, it still feels unreal to me. Having no family or freinds to help me, i only have my own thoughts about it. i feel like its not real and theres nothing wrong with me
