    Little holiday

    Looks like our little holiday which we planned for a week commencing this Sunday will be put off. Hubbie has a sore lump in his chest where line was taken out, in March. Phoned hospital who said it was probably caused by the line cap that was left in under the skin. Waiting now for phonecall to let us know when he has to go in for its removal. We were so looking forward to going away. You just cannot plan ahead for anything.I've booked off a fortnight from my part-time job. Perhaps we will have a...

    minor surgery to remove another mole

    hi everyone..

    monday 27th june i will be going into st georges day surgery to have the abnormal mole taken off my back and then the 3 week wait to see what it is.

    bit stressed but staying positive...

    Treatment Days 8 & 9

    Day 8 continued

    I am now a baldie! Pauline & I managed a real belly laugh or three getting to this stage, it felt really good to laugh like that. My only concern is that I now look frighteningly like my avatar. Went shopping for a few bits and then off to a couple of Pauline's favourite fabric shops for her patchworking supplies.     Just diagnosed

    Hi I have just been diagnosed with High grade anaplastic large  T- cell non Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 3B. After knowing I had a cancer for nearly 2 months, today they finally came up a name, and what a long one it is. I start CHOP chemo on Tuesday and after suffering from intermitent extreme pain in my groin I am really pleased I can now start on the road to recovery. Because of the pain they gave me Tramadol which has really made me constipated. Today they have given me Lactulose and Senna as they say...

    I packed my belongings today the surveyor came and his report will soon be sent to the buyer, feel a bit sad i like this house it was me safe place when i had cancer and i like the lounge alot.

    My friend has invited me to stay at his but he talks alot and i think i may feel bored. 

    I have made a new piece of art an ink about Melanoma ive framed it and a few of my friends saw it and were very moved very exciting time in the art world.

    another lump!!

    Dave got up late today, about 10 am before he came downstairs. He looked rough so I asked him if he had a bad night again, doesn't sleep much since the cancer invaded. Couple of hours at a time and long spells of laying there waiting for sleep to come again. We do share a bed but the most I get in one hit is 4hrs so rather than disturb his sleep more I go downstairs for a cuppa and get in spare bed if need be.

    Today was different, he really looked bad. Think he may have inner ear trouble as...

    Creon capsules

    Feeling great.The Creon capsules seem to be helping the cramps and digestion.Anyone who has same problems see if you can be prescribed them.I did after seeing advice on macmillan site and sufferers of the same advising and helping with what to do.Sleepin eating so much better and dont seem at the moment to be afflicted with any other probs ref the cancer,treatment and the op!So am grateful and taking each day as it comes.

    Hi just had my second experience on chat and found it a good place to be. Last night was a bit daunting as so many people on it my eyes were rolling trying to read your messages.

     Felt like I was intruding at first as I am a carer not a (what would be the right word to use without offending) carrier, probably still not the right term to use. Anyway I went on again this morning and was amazed that Mel knew my age. How clever she is I thought, I asked how she found out and I then had a short lesson...
