What a difference a day (or two) makes...

So, my last post was pretty desperate, and I apologise for that. However, I am proud that through sheer determination I got myself back to work, smoothed things over with the fella, even went out, did some shopping, cooked a kick ass lasagne and even kicked ass at work.

I will be avoiding alcohol until I learn to recognise the warning signs that I could implode/explode. I don't want to be a burden or a hassle to anyone and I also don't want my health to suffer. I know someone mentioned AA but I...

Neck pain?Is it back or not ?

Am panicking just now, I have had a pain in the neck now for several weeks I've had physio, traction, painkillers you name it, I thought it was just a twisted neck but it doesn't improve with time.    Have just had MRI scan and get results Monday but I'm scared of what they may say. Has anyone had simialer symptoms that can help me please. My head just stays in one position unless I sleep then it's better in the morning but only lasts about 30 minutes then back to square one.

    Decision making is liberating

If I have a choice between BCG & surgery, I've decided to opt for surgery. Having made this choice, I feel so much more at ease.

The prospect still feels somewhat surreal, but I hope that playing the scenario through in my mind will help me when it actually happens.

    More disappointment

Got the results of my lymph biopsy today and unfortunately they have found some cancer in one of them so it looks like it will be axillary node clearance as well as all the other stuff on 23rd.  I shouldnt be disappointed really, but i kind of hung on the words of my oncologist the last time I saw him and he said he thought that the nodes would be clear, given that all the scans etc came back negative.

I dont want to get down and  miserable because up to now i have been so positive and just getting...

    How did YOU feel ?

Not to sure if I've done this blog malarchy right but here goes...

I was yesterday, 7th June, diagnosed with breast cancer, I have recently lost weight (intentionally) and this has left me with some stretch marks at the top of my boobs, I was putting some of that bio oil on about 3wks ago for the first time, and felt a lump at the top of my right breast. I went to see the GP a few days later on the 23rd May, just for a check up on my blood pressure and mentioned the lump and asked her could she...
