Well i havent wrote anything on here for quite some time, but we are now 12 months on from Derek's op (Total Gastrectomy) and he is doing so so well, he looks amazing just a lot slimmer 5 and half stones slimmer to be exact, anyway he had his 1st CT Scan since diagnosis 2 weeks ago and we went on Wednesday for the results and got great news, there is no sign of anything abnormal on the scan and he doesnt have to go back again for 6 months, the relief is over whelming, i could have kissed the consultant but dont think he would have appreciated it somehow.
We are of to Greece next week for 2 weeks, plenty of rest and relaxation, no phone calls, no visitors and no bloody hospitals, oh yes and plenty of sun hopefully.
I just wanted to share our good news with everyone and to thank people on here for the support i have recieved over the past year, you have all helped me so so much.
Hope everyone else on this site keeps fighting and remains positive.
Steph xx
